4th of July Parade - Leesburg VA

Calling all volunteers!!!!! Come join Jonathan and his team to celebrate the Independence Day Parade in Leesburg, VA. The campaign will have a float and is looking for volunteers to help out the Emord team during the parade. If you would like to volunteer, RSVP through the event link. We look forward to celebrating the 4th of July with you and everyone in Loudoun County! 

Parad Route: 1.4 miles

8:30 AM - 9:15 am: Arrive at Ida Lee Park Festival Field. Please park in the festival field. Let staff know that you need to park your vehicle and they will direct you to the proper parking location.

All parade entrants and their group must arrive at Ida Lee Park no later than 9:15 AM. Streets close at 9:30 AM. Those arriving after 9:15 PM will not have access for entering the field to line up for the parade.

Once you arrive, you will be given directions on where you will be walking during the parade.

10 AM: Parade begins. 

10:30 AM: Parad ends

Downtown Leesburg, King Street from Ida Lee Drive to Fairfax Street.

Start the holiday by showing your patriotic spirit at the annual Independence Day Parade, held through Historic Downtown Leesburg beginning at 10:00 am.

The parade will start at Ida Lee Park, travel down King Street and conclude at Fairfax Street. Put on your patriotic best and join your friends and neighbors to celebrate the birthday of the United States!

This year’s parade will also feature the 15th annual Patriot’s Cup Competition, sponsored by the Loudoun Now newspaper. This award will go to the best parade entry; winners’ names will be engraved on the Patriot Cup, which will be on display at Town Hall.

A real patriot treat for the parade is the parade prelude of the American Originals fife & Drum Corps sponsored by Toth Financial! This patriotic group will travel the parade route beginning at 9:45am from Ida Lee Park and stop throughout the route for short performances for the crowd to enjoy!
