The American people share far more in common than the radical left would have us believe. As a people, and as a nation, we have staked our all on ensuring the self- evident truths contained in the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence: (1) that all are created equal; (2) that all are endowed by God, not government, with certain unalienable rights, among them individual rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; (3) that unique in all the world the Republic of the United States is instituted for the very purpose of securing those individual rights; and (4) that the only just powers possessed by the government are those to which the people have consented. The radical left which sets the policy for the Biden Administration has declared war on those self-evident truths that define America. They are destroying all that has made America great and upon which we depend for security, freedom, prosperity, and progress. They have divided our children based on race and gender. They have taught them to hate themselves, hate one another, hate their parents, hate private enterprise, and hate their country, leading them to believe the falsehood that everything in America is systemically and irredeemably racist. They seek to turn each generation to come into agents of “transformational change,” to destroy our republic in favor of socialism. Green New Deal advocates demand destruction of the fossil fuel backbone of the American economy on the road to socialism. Unequal justice reigns with Soros-backed prosecutors who leave criminals on the streets by refusing to prosecute and who wage war on the criminal justice system, leaving Americans at risk. Illegal aliens, fentanyl, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, terrorists, gangs, and petty criminals are crossing into the United States through our Southern Border unimpeded everyday. This devolution into destruction we must reject. We do not need to wallow in an abyss of socialism in a perpetual downward spiral to total destruction. We are a great, free people, and we must reclaim our sovereignty by taking back our nation. We need only look to the greatness achieved by the American people since the Founding to perceive the path forward. The United States must defeat socialism and defend individual liberty, as we have repeatedly in the past, to ensure our return to freedom and prosperity. The current administration and Democrat leadership’s far left ambitions do not reflect who we are; freedom reflects the soul of our nation; we are a sovereign people. We were born free with our rights coming from God, not government, and it is our destiny to return to that freedom, which is the only true source of our prosperity and happiness. Throughout American history, individual initiative unimpeded by government, not slavish adherence to government mandates, has led us to become the greatest empire of liberty on earth, replete with ever rising standards of living and ever-expanding protection for the rights of our people. Freedom and progress have complemented one another as each generation has strived for a better life, and freedom and progress can pull us out of the decline we now experience. The American standard of living has risen generation after generation not because of government but in spite of it. As President Reagan reminded us, government is not the solution to our problems, government is the problem. Our greatness has always depended on individual freedom to be, to do, and to become. My vision for America calls for a return to excellence through a restoration of constitutional limits on government power; a reduction in the size and scope of government in favor of individual freedom of choice; maximum defense for freedom and free enterprise; and a ridding of indoctrination from our schools and our military. We can fulfill America’s rightful destiny by re-establishing freedom and prosperity. Every American without exception can enjoy the full blessings of liberty so long as liberty is protected and not attacked by government and so long as government affords equal justice to all Americans, not a privileged few. If we protect individual liberty for all, all will be beneficiaries of the great promise of the Declaration of Independence.

We must cut off all federal funding for states, school boards, and schools that authorize school employees or contractors to recommend that students under the age of 18 alter their genders or that propound the lie that it is possible through surgery or hormone therapy to render a biological male a female or a biological female a male. We must make it a federal felony for anyone to aid or cause the transitioning of a person who is under the age of 18.

We must remove Department of Justice jurisdiction over schools, school boards, and parents in all instances of protest by parents against those institutions; never again allowing an Attorney General of the United States to target parents for exercising their First Amendment rights.

We must cut off all federal funding for states, school boards, and schools that adopt a curriculum that violates the Fourteenth Amendment Equal Protection Clause by teaching CRT.

We must ensure election integrity. He believes that one of the most important responsibilities of a public servant is to ensure that voting is fair and accessible for all Americans. We must secure elections and support voter ID, an end to ballot harvesting, and an automatic independent audit of votes in each state to ferret out instances of fraud and ensure accuracy in the tabulation of votes.

We must remove all prosecutors who refuse to prosecute crime, a violation of their constitutional oaths of office.

I favor right to work laws that give private sector employees the freedom to choose whether or not to join a union and that make it optional for employees to pay union dues or membership fees, whether members of a union or not. That freedom is guaranteed by the First Amendment freedom of association and freedom of speech. I oppose laws that grant public employees collective bargaining rights. Public employees are servants of taxpayers and carry a special trust to fulfill essential legally mandated duties on behalf of the public. Enabling public employees to bargain collectively for higher wages and benefits against the agencies and departments that employ them and the laws that define their service harms the taxpayer by enabling commitments that carry tax consequences to be made without prior public authorization. It also enables public employees to alter the application and interpretation of law and to hold citizens in need of services hostage to public employee demands, creating a conflict between public employees’ duties to serve the public and their own personal and political ambitions. In this way, the grant to public employees of collective bargaining rights inevitably increases public debt and disables public service. The city of Chicago’s insolvency is evidence of that.

We must restore the remain in Mexico policy. We must complete construction of the border wall. We must invoke the State Self-Defense Clause of the Constitution and give block grants to border states willing to defend the border from illegal entry for the precise purpose of recruiting more state police and national guard troops to police the border and arrest, detain and evict illegal entrants.

We must increase funding and support for law enforcement across the United States to ensure prompt interdiction of crime and defense of the law-abiding; there must never again be a Summer like 2020 in which criminals are allowed to destroy lives, take liberty, and destroy property without arrest, prosecution, and incarceration.

We must eliminate all federal, state, and local regulatory impediments to fossil fuel production in the United States to make gas affordable and bring down inflation.

The Biden Administration, the federal bureaucracy, colleges and universities, and even public schools are establishing a radical orthodoxy that cancels critical opinions and censors vital information in violation of our rights to free speech and press. The information suppressed includes health information, alternative therapies, criticism of COVID-19 vaccination, criticism of mask mandates, criticism of school and business closures, and criticism of woke policies and politics. Students in schools and universities are shamed into hiding their true feelings and are forced to confess allegiance not to the American flag but to radical fluid gender, Marxist CRT positions, and prolific variable pronouns. Parents are condemned at school board meetings for asserting their constitutionally protected speech and parental rights. The Biden Administration and members of Congress have colluded with Big Tech to censor views in social media and across the web contrary to government programs and policies. We must vigorously re-establish freedom of speech and press by prohibiting censorship and stripping the speech police of their powers. We must restore the wide-open, robust idea and information marketplace that is the engine of freedom and progress, the spark of innovation, and the crucible out of which truth is revealed, corruption is checked, and falsehood is vanquished. Each American is entitled to freedom of expression. That is our birthright. Under our Constitution, each American is supposed to be sovereign and government our servant, not the other way around.

We must never again allow government to second guess individual physicians in the treatment of emerging disease, and we must end all government mandated shut-downs, school closings, mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and restrictions that prevent physicians from prescribing hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin in the early treatment of COVID-19.

The federal government, state medical boards, and state and federal public health authorities have bureaucratized the practice of medicine. Physicians are under constant threat of Medicare audits, financial penalties, and losing their licenses if they deviate from providing federally accepted care, even in instances where patients need and deserve alternatives. Physicians have been denied the benefit of independent professional judgment. They are increasingly dispensers of one size fits all medical care rather than patient-centric care, tailored to each patient’s peculiar medical needs. Doctors fear Medicare and Medical Board attacks if they recommend or prescribe care they think best but which deviates from a fixed government standard; patients are deprived of life-saving and health enhancing information and treatments that could extend longevity, hasten cure, and alleviate pain and suffering. Countless people have died in the United States from COVID-19 in the first year of the pandemic because doctors were forbidden by regulators from recommending and prescribing ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine early after infection. Dr. Fauci, the CDC, and the Biden Administration have lied repeatedly to the American people about the safety and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine, which has proven less safe and effective than promised. We need to protect the independent professional judgment of physicians from bureaucratic second-guessing, and we need to protect patient’s freedom of choice in health care.

In all instances except those in which there is direct and irrefutable evidence of the commission of an assault and battery of police or national guard or of destruction of government property, those incarcerated in association with the January 6 protests at the Capitol should be granted amnesty and immediately released from prison.

We must cut government regulation and restore congressional responsibility and accountability to the people by prohibiting any proposed federal regulation from taking effect unless first adopted by Congress and signed into law and terminating all existing federal regulation within 3 years unless adopted by Congress and signed into law.

We must cut individual and corporate taxes and eliminate inheritance and capital gains taxes to return earnings to private hands and trigger a free market boom.

We must repeal all Biden era socialist spending programs to eliminate inflation which is ravaging nearly every American household, causing many to go without food, needed medicines, and travel.

We must invest to ensure that the United States military achieves excellence not wokeness and remains the strongest on earth, capable of defending the nation against any threats posed by our enemies, including communist China.

Every American has an unalienable right to self-defense. That right is protected by the Second Amendment and may not be infringed without due process of law. As with all individual rights, the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms entitles each of us to a presumption of innocence in the exercise of the right. Government may only limit or remove the right following due process of law and a criminal conviction. Limits (prior restraints) on the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms violate the Second Amendment. Red flag laws, such as those adopted during Governor Ralph Northam’s administration, are among the most egregious violations of the Second Amendment. Under red flag laws, individuals may report to authorities their suspicions of threats posed by gun owners. On the basis of those reports of suspicion alone and without the necessity of probable cause and proof of criminality or due process of law and a conviction, authorities may enter private property and seize guns. Red flag laws on the state and federal level should be repealed along with all other prior restraints on the exercise of Second Amendment rights.

We must defend the sanctity of life. Consistent with the plain and intended meaning of the Constitution, there is no federal constitutional right to abortion, as the Supreme Court correctly held in Dobbs. Resolution of the legality of abortion has been left by the Founding Fathers to the states and the people for decision. It is thus not a federal issue, but a state issue. I believe each human life a sacred gift from God. Consistent with my faith, I oppose elective abortions for personal or social convenience. Abortion is a human tragedy. Those most culpable are practitioners who perform abortions for personal or social convenience of their patients. Laws should limit sanctions for non-compliance to those practitioners.

We must re-establish law and order, the rule of law, and equal justice under law.

We must eliminate regulatory barriers to free markets and free enterprise, encourage growth of domestic manufacturing and a return of corporations from China and other nations, and establish enterprise zones across the United States that cut federal, state, and local taxes and regulations to inspire economic development of depressed areas.
